Lara R. Badain, Esq. has been practicing law for over 20 years and is admitted to practice in New York, California and the Federal Courts. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester and her Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law.
A native of Rochester and a graduate of Brighton High School, she focuses her practice on family and matrimonial law while also handling some municipal and general civil litigation. For the past five years, Lara has written a monthly legal column for the online publication “StepMom Magazine”. An avid writer, Lara also enjoys devoting a portion of her practice to appellate work. She served for five years as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Monroe County Court where she co-authored numerous published legal opinions. Lara serves on the ‘Attorneys for Children’ panel for the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division Fourth Department, representing children in family court.
She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Monroe County Bar Association and is a former Board Member for the Monroe County Legal Assistance Corporation.
